Prepare from ICSE question papers for class 10 to score better in exams
Examinations can be easy or difficult, depending on the way you plan for your examinations. One of the most important stage before the actual battle is planning. Without planning it is impossible to achieve that objective that you have long been yearning for. Thus, planning is undeniably important so that you can make sure you have covered everything.
How then, do you go about planning for your ICSE or CBSE examinations and what qualities do you need to succeed in planning for your examinations?
The first question many people ask is how early should I prepare myself for the examinations? It depends on the consistency and the number of subjects that you have to take. For board examinations a thorough planning from the beginning of the session is vital. If you are someone who hasn't been consistent with your work, you probably need a lot more time to brush up on your foundation. You must be willing to stick to your plan, else everything will fail and you’ll cover the complete CBSE or ICSE syllabus for class 10 or 12th well in time.
Print out the monthly calendar with the examination dates written on it. Then start by counting the number of days you have from now till the examinations and divide the time equally to all the subjects and chapters. If you are weaker in another subject, you may have to sacrifice time off from studying your best subject and dedicating it to your weaker ones. Leave out sufficient time for practicing CBSE or ICSE question papers for class 10 or 12. This would be the best method of revision of what you have already studied by now.
If you have been consistently following up on your lessons, your foundations should be good enough. Thus, you can spend your time practicing on past year papers so that you can get a feel of how good you are. Do remember to time yourself sometimes so that you know how fast you can complete a certain paper. Past year papers from the ten year series, as well as school papers from other schools are recommended.
Prepare sample NCERT solutions class 9 or the class that you are in. NCERT is the base from where all your questions are prepared so proper preparation of solutions well before exams is a must! Do remember that it is better to work on harder questions, than to work on easy ones and think you got it right, only to be complacent and flunk the examination. Another tip that everyone should already know is to study for a particular examination when you are going for it the next day.
We hope
with the tips given above you’ll score better in your upcoming exams.
