Hajj is one of the most crucial and demanding obligations of Islam. Muslims need to prepare for this big event more than all the other obligations in the religion. Preparation of Hajj requires people to keep in mind a lot of things and physically made them preparatory for the long journey.

People, who are not the citizens of Saudi Arabia, have to obtain a visa to go to Hajj. This visa is given in advance by Saudi Embassy. Visas of Hajj are given through quota system. This quota system is based on the number of Muslims in every state. For this, Hajj travellers should prepare their mind that they should have good terms with Hajj travellers, who are sending them on Hajj.

Before planning your trip to Hajj, you also need to prepare your evidence to be shown at the Saudi embassy. Usually the Hajj & Umrah Travel Agents collect your evidence for Hajj at priority. This evidence is something like a letter from the local mosque affirming that you are a Muslim because non-Muslims are not allowed to do Hajj. These evidences should be prepared as they can cancel your Hajj permit on suspicion of any doubt.

According to the law of Saudi Arabia, women under 45 have to travel with a male Mahram. This male person could be her father, brother by same parents or husband. Women above 45 ages can also travel alone or in a group of other people. For women Hajj travellers they need to make sure that they have all theirs and their Mahram’s Hajj preparation done because if there would be something missing in their companion’s preparation, they would also not be allowed to go for Hajj.

You also need to prepare your vaccination proofs if you are going for Hajj. You need to give evidence for the vaccination of all the infections or viruses that are quite common in the region you are coming from. For example, Pakistan has recently being declared as a polio-virus country. Thus, every Pakistani going for Hajj has to provide their vaccination proof for polio virus. Furthermore, there are other common viruses and diseases, such as, meningitis and yellow fever, for which, every Hajj and Umrah traveller have to present their Covid-19 coronavirus vaccination proof.
