  5. Using gloves, goggles, and boots: It is essential to protect your body from potential physical hazards. Use gloves and goggles to reduce the chances of harm occurring to your hand and eyes, respectively. Wear boots to keep your foot safe from small bits of wires and other parts that might injure your feet. Do not wear loose garments while working.
  6. Always taking precautionary steps using a tester: In many cases, the circuits store electrical energy even after they are disconnected. Use a tester to check if there is any residual charge. This is a significant measure for electrical engineers working in industry or power stations.
  7. Checking the ground fault circuit daily: Grounding is an essential part of the whole working station. It ensures that the surge current passes through it to the ground. If the ground circuit is faulty, it is suggested to get it repaired as soon as possible.
  8. Keeping fire extinguishers handy: always keep fire extinguishers at different access points in the work station. This will help in stopping fires in case of fire emergencies.
  9. Avoid storing inflammable liquids nearby the station:  Do not store any inflammable objects near the workstation.
  10. Using rated wire and equipment: Always use rated equipment to avoid any future breakdown.
