Players appearances is important in FIFA 16

"Horrendously" is quite harsh. His first few appearances were all as late match subs usually after Chelsea had gone a goal up and were sitting back, not ideal when you are trying to adapt to English football. Granted he didn't make as big of an impact as expected with cheap fifa coins, it's not as if he was totally lost out there. He played well when he got to start. A full preseason of training with the squad should help too. I wouldn't judge him until January.

I never saw him play there other than highlights and during the World Cup. Unfortunately he looked lost last season with Chelsea and with the Copa America he will have an almost nonexistent preseason to help gel with the team. I don't see him displacing Willian anytime soon.

Mourinho wants all of his players to track back when they are not in possession.. He never did that so he's not the first choice.. And when he gets a bit of playtime he tries to adapt to the more defensive playstyle, so it's hard to see him doing something good

His most memorable moment in the blue shirt was missing an absolute sitter from 3 yards out, other than that he did nothing other than try to beat defenders with FIFA 16 Points who just pushed him off the ball on account of him being so scrawny and weak.

I'm a chels fan, so I hope he adjusts and learns how to put his agility and technique to good use but if he continues to disappoint I can see Jose offloading him as early as the January transfer window.
