Personal Opinion after Using Body Mist from Forest Essentials?

Forest Essentials Body Mist and Fragrances Review

Pure. Fresh. Sensorial. Off late, I have developed a keen interest in the body mists by Forest Essentials. You must be wondering, why? After all, there are plenty of brands in the market that specifically make body mists for women and other beauty products online, enticing scents. But there are few that hydrate while being natural. From being reminiscent of the Gajras to the scent of the Desi Gulab, plucked from the verdant gardens of Kannauj, the Forest Essentials body mists take great influence from nature, while being rooted in tradition owing to its foundation being that of Ayurveda.

I am Obsessed with Natral Fragrances

I haven’t always been the one to opt for natural fragrances. To be truthful, synthetic scents by designer brands have been my go-to essentials until recently. The heavily scented perfumes just weren’t cutting it for my skin which, over the years, has become overly sensitive to chemicals. So much so that medicated soaps were the only ‘indulgence’ I was allowed, as suggested by my dermatologist of the time. It was time to give up on heavily scented perfumes and look for less concentrated alternatives, so I commenced my search for the perfect body mist, online. After hours of scrolling through endless options, I stumbled upon the body mist collection by Forest Essentials.

Body Mist Variation in Forest Essentials

From Oudh and Green Tea to Honey and Vanilla, there are eight variants in the body mist selection. While they might be less long-lasting in comparison to their strongly scented counterparts, the refreshing aroma of these natural deodorants makes for a captivating experience, while uplifting my senses. Made from fresh and seasonal flowers, using pure grain alcohol naturally derived via fermentation or Sandhan Kalpana, the Forest Essentials body mists can be used together with perfumes for everlasting sensuous aroma.

Forest Essentials Unisex Body Mist

Whether you are a man or a woman, I have discovered that they tend to everyone. From floral to musky, Forest Essentials has one of the best natural deodorants range. In fact, from the option of natural deodorants in India, the brand probably has the most extensive range available when it comes to options for deodorants. While searching for best perfumes online, an array of options is bound to show up, but if you are someone looking for the best perfumes for men, normally you will find only a handful of options. However, the Forest Essentials range of natural perfumes is unisex. Whether you are out on a casual brunch with your peers or prepping to go on a date night, there is a scent for every occasion.

While body mist is a daily essential for me, there are days when I want to apply something fancier. For occasions more formal, I don’t prefer a body mist since it wears off after some time. If I am stepping out during the day, Sunhere Din is a typical favourite with its top note of Rose Absolute, and base radiating a smoky woody whiff of Maulshree. The sweetish note of this fragrance magically awakens my senses, while leaving a refreshingly aromatic scent.

For a night-time affair, Chandani Raatein works best for me, personally. Since I am an ardent fan of seductive floral fragrances, the overtone of Ruh Motia along with the fresh, exotic note of the White Jasmine, exudes vibrancy and has a calming fragrance. What makes these intense perfumes even more captivating for me is that instead of toxic chemicals, these fragrances are crafted using the traditional method of steam distillation, which keeps intact the core essence of floral waters as well as essential oils. The base of these scents is that of Pure Grain Alcohol as opposed to the synthetic counterparts.

The blissful aroma of these perfumes is also attributed to Aloe Vera, which also keeps the skin intensely hydrated. Quite frankly, I am mighty impressed by the ingredients used by the brand to create products that not only smell good but also don’t harm the skin in any way. I recently learned that Ayurveda associates great significance with perfumes. Body mist uses aren’t limited to just smell or having a healthy body care routine. Instead, I was surprised to learn that there is medicinal value including being used as medicated oils and powders to cure external cuts and injuries as well as Dhupan or medicated fumigation to eliminate any airborne infection.

Bottom Line

The switch to natural has proven to be beneficial for my skin. After all, it is as important to take care of your skin, as it is to smell good!
