99% of Marketing is being remembered.  Is it your card, your brochure, the tag on your car?  We all know that pictures say a thousand words.  How many of you have a website? The use of video to help with branding, as you have pointed is a very effective way to present yourself. To be most effective for branding I guess that the video quality and content should be carefully presented.
