For so many years people have been going to the theaters to see a good show which has many major thespians appearing within it. Martial arts actors have been around since the beginning of cinema history and they will continue to exist for years to come. Jeff Speakman, Steven Seagal, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Patrick Swayze, David Carradine and Chuck Norris have become quite successful in this career field.

Jeff Speakman did a number of films during the 1980's and many women considered him to be a very good looking fighter. The men went to see his movies since he was good at doing karate on every bad person who was acting within the film. In real life this man was a 9th degree black belt master and he had studied this art in many foreign countries. Nowadays his acting career is almost over since people do not enjoy these particular movies anymore.

"Black Dawn" and "Today You Die" are two movies which featured the male named Steven Seagal. Mr. Seagal always played the protagonist within each and every one of his movies. He was also a very charming leading male who could make any woman weak in the knees. The male fans loved to watch Steven in action during his younger days but unfortunately nowadays he is not the same man anymore.

Mr. Jackie Chan was very desperate to break into the entertainment industry years ago but Hollywood was not hiring Asian thespians. He decided to make adult films in order to build up his acting resume and this was very unfortunate. Luckily people forgot his sordid past and now he is starring in films like "Kung Fu Panda."

Bruce Lee was another Asian thespian who had showed great promise when he first appeared to the public back in the 70's. He was a swift performer who was not afraid to do all of his own stunts during the production of the "Green Hornet." Later on he went on to play in a number of karate films which always portrayed him as the unlikely hero. He died from brain cancer in 1973.

Many old and young people know the actor named Chuck Norris from his many action films and television shows over the years. "Walker Texas Ranger" was a law officer who would use karate while taking his prisoners into custody. Chuck enjoyed doing this show for a number of years and the fans were very grateful to him.

Another great thespian from the early 70's was named David Carradine and he had a good time making exciting television shows within the United States. There were so many individuals who enjoyed David's series named "Kung Fu" since this was a show about an ordinary male with great powers.

Patrick Swayze was a very versatile thespian who knew how to kick butt, sing and dance. Many people remember him from a film called "Dirty Dancing" but unfortunately they have never seen any of his action flicks. Mr. Swayze passed away much too soon when he developed pancreatic cancer.
