Printed Circuit Board is where the chips are mounted and fitted inside gadgets, appliances and devices. Almost all the electronic devices use a PCB in some form or the other. Some devices use one pcb while some use more than one. A company that manufactures any gadget has to constantly stay in touch with a PCB supplier in order to fill its inventory with the circuit boards. Here, PCB prototyping is closely connected with the lead time. It is not easy to construct a printed circuit board since it has to go through several steps and a series of test checks. However, the best manufacturers take the least time possible without compromising on the quality.

The lead time differs and depends largely on the design which has been used. Depending on the various PCB prototypes, the time taken for the circuit to be ready can range from 2 days to 2 weeks, and sometimes even more. Any rational client will desire the least possible time so that there is no delay in manufacturing of the gadgets (which may be anything from a television to a computer to a tablet to a cell phone).

The supplier is nothing but the raw material provided since the PCBs are the indispensible raw materials to be used mandatorily in all the above-mentioned devices. Different makers may take their own time for designing a certain prototype of a circuit board but a client should not overlook the factor of quality. Time also differs depending on the number of circuits ordered.
