Paula Abdul Admits to Having Cosmetic Procedures before Las Vegas Residency

by BodySculpt NYC Body Sculpt - Plastic Surgery
International pop icon Paula Abdul is in the news for admitting she had cosmetic procedures ahead of her Las Vegas Residency. The 57-year-old singer opened up about her experience with FaceTite and BodyTite, two minimally invasive treatments from InMode, a leading global provider of innovative and award-winning medical technologies. Paula openly talked about the procedures when she appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show” and “BUILD Series” by Yahoo.

“I Wanted a Little Sleeker Jawline”

Paula Abdul is set to kick off the second leg of her Forever Your Girl Las Vegas residency on October 22. Appearing on “The Wendy Williams Show” and “BUILD Series” on October 3, she openly talked about the procedures she had when her hosts praised her for “never” aging and for “looking amazing”. Paula admitted having aesthetic treatment because she wanted a “little sleeker jawline” before launching her Las Vegas residency.

“Finds” InMode and Becomes their Brand Ambassador

After navigating through various companies, Paula found InMode which offers minimally-invasive and no scar procedures. Paula did not want any extensive cosmetic surgery that requires any major incisions and that made InMode’s BodyTite/FaceTite technology ideal options to achieve her goals. After her successful treatment, Paula was roped in as brand ambassador for InMode in August.

Radiofrequency-assisted Procedures help Paula achieve her Cosmetic Goals

On her talk shows, Paula acknowledged the effect of gravity on facial appearance. Among other things, she wanted a sleeker jawline, but was not ready to surgery.

“Women of our age, we start really looking for aesthetic treatments that resonate with you. I was thinking, I’m going to have my residency, I want to do something but I wasn’t ready to have the big incisions or any face lift,” Paula said on The Wendy Williams show.

Paula was treated with EmbraceRF that combines two powerful InMode technologies, FaceTite and Morpheus8. The procedure addressed her lower face, jawline and neck. InMode’s BodyTite system proved the ideal option to sculpt and remodel Paula’s arms. Unlike invasive cosmetic surgery, which requires general anesthesia, InMode’s minimally-invasive radiofrequency assisted (RF) procedures need only local anesthesia.

Paula said she was given an Ativan, an anti-anxiety medication, and that her procedure took an hour, maybe less. Downtime was minimal too – she was elated to be “walking around two or three days later”.

Excited by her results, Paula wants to share what the BodyTite/FaceTite procedure did for her and can do for others. As InMode’s brand ambassador she said, ”I am proud to get the word out about what InMode’s amazing technology in face and body rejuvenation can do for people like me who notice the inevitable effects of natural aging. While maintaining a healthy lifestyle of fitness and skincare routines, I still wanted more definition and tighter, firmer skin at my jawline and arms – and InMode’s BodyTite and FaceTite helped me restore a sleeker, more youthful look without invasive cosmetic surgery. I am very pleased with the results!”

President of InMode North America Shakil Lakhani said, “We are thrilled to announce a strong and powerful woman like Paula representing our brand, who has an ageless presence and embodies InMode’s commitment to enhance beauty and well-being. This collaboration will ensure a greater audience who will be aware of the benefits of InMode’s technology on a national and global level.”

Paula is an excellent choice as InMode’s brand ambassador, according to bodySCULPT’s plastic surgeon Spero Theodorou MD, who is also InMode’s Chief Medical Officer.

“Paula is an excellent candidate for InMode’s innovative technology using Radio-Frequency (RF) to provide a natural tighter appearance. She exercised regularly, was healthy but had some areas that troubled her due to past injuries and the effects of aging,” said Dr. Theodorou

BodySCULPT plastic surgeons Dr. Spero Theodorou and Dr. Christopher T. Chia invented BodyTite on Arms, a scarless arm lift procedure. This innovative RF technique addresses excess fat and skin under the arms to provide a slim, attractive shape, without leaving any scars. Dr Theodorou also developed EmbraceRF, a unique one-time facial rejuvenation solution effectively treats skin laxity and excess fat accumulation in the face and neck area. Both procedures require only local anesthesia.
