Paint Your Car With Astonishing Custom Pearl Paint

by Mary V. Auto Paint Advisor

If your car is looking dull and old, you can give new look and appeal to your old car with a fresh pearl paint. There are mainly two types of car paints that you can use, one is metallic and the other one is pearlescent paint. Metallic paint includes small equal sized chips of aluminium which gives a shiny appearance to the auto paint. Pearl car paint contains chips of mica. It is a synthesized - inorganic product that gives a lustre finish to your car. Normally, vehicles which are properly painted along with metallic based paint give a shiny look from all the sides from which you see it. Whereas cars painted with custom pearl paint give a different appearance as the shades of the colour change from each angle. You can find metallic paints in sportier cars, whereas pearl auto paint is used frequently in luxurious family cars. Both the paint types are used to build modified looks for auto customers.

However, pearl paints give a distinctive appearance to your car. You can make pearl auto paint using your regular paint with pearl concentrate. You can do it easily at home and also you can paint your car without the help of any professional painters. You have to take some safety measures such that you should be in a ventilated place and you should wear goggles before starting the task. You should be following certain steps when getting your car painted.

First you have to wash your car with shampoo and water to remove the dirt build up and dust particles. Then sand the exterior part of the car with a sandpaper to remove the existing shiny finish. Then rinse the car using a garden hose that will remove the sandpaper dust. Leave your car to dry up in air. Mix the pearl concentrate with your regular paint according to the manufacturer's instructions. Normally if you have selected a base paint of darker colour then you have to use one teaspoon of pearl concentrate. If you have taken the base paint of lighter colour then half spoon of pearl concentrate is enough. Pearl concentrate proportion is an individual's choice. You can use it more or less according to how strong you need the pearl effect to be.

You can add paint reducer to your paint to make it a little thin and to have a more smooth consistency. Paint reducer helps you to spray the paint easily through the paint gun. Before starting the painting, cover windows, mirrors and parts you don't want to paint with newspaper and painters tape to hold the newspaper. Now take the paint gun and pour the paint mixture into it. Start spraying long strokes from the top of the car to the bottom and front side of the car to the back side. Leave it for some time to get dry and then apply the second coat.

A pearl motorcycle paint adds a sparkling shine to your regular paint that makes your car gleam and notable in the crowd. As said by Paint with Pearl, an auto-detailing company pearl painting requires just a special mixing otherwise it is a very simple task. By following the right steps you can make your car new and striking in just few hours.
