Over the years people have grown accustom to the idea that when finished with an item or product that it just gets thrown away.  This idea negates the environmental conscience of our planet.  This is where the notion of organic clothing fits into our everyday lives.  It allows people to be OK that the clothing they buy will eventually break down in a natural way.  When an item or product is used it needs to be discarded and it will end up in the garbage, but where will the garbage go when it leaves the person.   A growing movement has evolved to implement the use of organic products that naturally grow on the planet and therefore will break down easier when they are discarded or no longer are in use.  Environmentally conscious people feel that we live on earth with no recognition of the products or item we discard.  Although there has been a movement to stop putting man made food items into are body as they are not organically conducive it has not been equal to the everyday items or products we use, especially our clothing.  People want to look their best because they can feel their best, however, our clothing will eventually be discarded as well and using environmentally organic materials such as cotton grown in friendly conditions will accomplish this.  Cotton is a naturally growing fiber that can break down organically as time passes.   Being conscious of that while producing it in a textile context to produce and create clothing can make our wardrobes just as environmentally friendly as the food we consume.   Producing this cotton alone will not make it this way.  Pesticides and/or chemicals need not be used during this growing for the cotton to maintain it in its natural state or the clothing that comes from it will not be truly organic.  This does not end when dyes are applied to the material so the production process requires a staff whom from harvesting to production is continually keeping the materially in its organic state.   As a result people can truly be satisfied that the material they are wearing is truly organic clothing and will break down to a point that will not compromise our environment.   Therefore, you can keep your fashion sense and still be aware of your impact on the environment with organic clothing.
