1. Abbott Mount

As one of the best offbeat Himachal destinations, this is a lake that comes with nine corners. Many people know this place as Nauki. It is located just a couple of kilometers away from the town of Nainital. Naukuchiatal comes with many resorts and cottages. These are hiding away in many hilly areas.

This place in Uttarakhand is not explored much. Many people wrongly call this place Kasauli. You can find this small town high up on the mountain. The scenery in this area is amazing. You can see many tall pine trees. The Himalayan peaks can also be seen from the distance. Kasauni really is well worth a visit.

This town is incredibly popular. The town was first developed in the British era. This means that there is a very British feel about it. Kasauli offers a fantastic relaxing environment. You can also go and have a look at the little hill station in the town.

Not many people know about this town most probably because of the Himachal hotels it has. Landour was developed by the British. It is a very quiet place. It offers a beautiful pond called the Ruskin Pond. You will also discover a wide range of cheese and plenty of Deodaar Woods. If you love pizza, you can be sure to find some very tasty pizza's here! The only way you can get to Landour is with a small amount of trekking. This is because there are very narrow roads.

7. Kempti Village

This village has never been explored much. It is a very small place. You will find that it is very close to Kempti Falls located in Musourie. If you have an appreciation of nature, and want to relax; then you will enjoy Kempti Village.

8. Binsar

Many people know Binsar for its wildlife sanctuary. Many tourists visit this town. Why? So they can appreciate the beautiful nature around them. It also allows tourists to go on many adventures. The Himayalan ridges and peaks can also be seen from Binsar, particularly from 'Zero Point'.

9. Dehradun

Pithoragarh is the entry way to the Himalayas particularly from the northern area. Why, you might ask? Many visitors take this way to get to Om parvat, Lake Mansarovar, and Kailash.

11. Devpryag

This is where a couple of rivers meet to form the Ganges River. These rivers are named: the Bhagirathi River and the Alaknanda River. Devpryag is where many Hindu's come and trek so they can pray.
