Obstetrician, Gynecologist and Pro-life Ob Gyn

by John Marry SEO Executive
The difference between an obstetrician and gynecologist is well known. While the former treats various disorders of the female reproductive system, the latter treats the complications of pregnancy, childbirth and related conditions. However, many if not most people are unaware of what a pro-life Ob GYN means. It is a specialization developed by some obstetrician and gynecologist duos for providing compassionate care to their patients, i.e. pregnant women.

Some of the distinctive features of a pro-life obstetrician doctor include:

• Medical practitioners who respect your beliefs and desires, and help you be active in your own care and treatment

• Belief in life beginning at conception, rather than after delivery

• Treatment with dignity and as a part of the family

• Doctors with high certifications and awards for academic success, teaching, research and success in surgeries

• No fraud in setting up appointment, and when you reach the medical institution, you meet the doctors, not a midwife or nurse

• Doctors that look to avoid hormonal contraception by providing its safe natural alternatives

• Some OB GYNs even offer a free 4D ultrasound to all the newly pregnant patients The main areas of concern for pro-life doctors include pelvic pain and high risk of miscarriage. Expectant women should be able to trust these doctors for providing state of the art work ups and treatment of sensitive issues such as pelvic pain.

Specialized treatment is necessary for minimal damage to the newborn and mother in a high risk pregnancy. The pro-life Ob Gyn is aware that such a condition can be a result of a condition affecting the mother, the baby or both. Highest level of care is needed, especially because they need to ensure that delivery and care conforms to the high pro-life standards set by them.
