Not sure about where to go for your honeymoon? Here’re top 3 budget-friendly places
Now that you've found the man or woman of your dreams, you must now be thinking about where to go for your honeymoon, right?
The good thing is your family and friends will tell you hundreds of places that they believe are awesome for couples going out for honeymoons.
The bad thing is the sheer options make your head heavy. And you can end up getting all the more confused.
To help you save from all this, I've put down this post. I'm not married. But don't worry. It's only after scouring hundreds of online reviews on reputed sites and chatting with a couple of friends that I've dared to put down this post.
And I am pretty sure that you'll find this post quite enlightening; more importantly, by the time you'll reach the end of this post, you'll know where you should be heading for your honeymoon (just make sure you don't forget to take your partner with you – the way Kangana did in Queen!).
Close your eyes for a minute – take a couple of deep breaths – and think – "what sort of honeymoon holiday you'd enjoy the most?"
I'm a romantic guy. So if you'd ask me, I'd prefer a hill station for my honeymoon – a place without a single tinge of bad air and blaring of motors.
But, you're different – and might have been to hill stations hundreds of times. So, you really need to figure out the sort of places that would excite you the most.
Here're top 3 places that I, with all my heart, endorse for honeymooners:
Nainital –
Recently, my best friend went to Nainital with his newly wedded wife. And, boy was he happy with the place!
If you're looking for a place to just hang around with your partner, hands in hands, do some fun activities like one-hour boating in a large river in the evening, a trolley-ride, a brief horse ride, and some light shopping, then Nainital is the place to go to.
Hotels are easily available between Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000 a night. Cheaper options are also available.
Goa –
Your friends told you this, right?
But what they probably didn't tell you is Goa is vastly different from rest of India and that you need to prepare well before you two take a flight to Goa.
There are tons of beaches in this beach and sand city. There are tall palm trees, nice, clean water, and a lot of parties. So, if you're someone who likes beaches, sand, palm trees, and parties, then you should definitely think about Goa.
You can buy the plane tickets, reserve a hotel room in Goa, and arrange the local sightseeing on your own once you reach this amazing place; or, you can look online for honeymoon tour packages in India, select a nice Goa honeymoon package, and let the tour company manage it all for you.
Agra –
I call Agra the city of Love. You don't have to agree.
Take a hotel near Taj Mahal. Witness the sheer magic that Taj is all about in the morning, evening and under stars.
If Agra alone doesn't excite you much, then you can take a honeymoon package that includes a couple of cities along with Agra. For instance, you can pick a Delhi Agra Jaipur tour package. Else, you can go to Google and search for honeymoon tour packages in India and see which other options excite you.
Kerala –
It's God's own country.
And God would love to see you spending some time together in His country.
If you're looking for an exotic holiday destination for a rocking honeymoon, then Kerala makes the cut. The natural beauty of this place, the food, and the backwaters, they all make Kerala an experience for honeymooners.
There are hundreds of places you can go to for your honeymoon. I've told you 3 places. You can read for more places in India for honeymooners. In my future posts, I'll tell you about places outside India for honeymooners. Here're some places for best affordable honeymoon tour packages in India.
