Nokia Lumia 920 Supported the Best Video or Audio formats

Video Format: MP4, H.264, H.263, WMV

Video Resolution: 768 x 1280 pixels

Audio Format: MP3, WMA, WAV, eAAC+

Basically, MP4 and WMV videos play just fine on Nokia Lumia 920, other videos like MKV, AVI, VOB, TV Shows, AVCHD, MPG, FLV/F4V, HD videos, VRO, MVI, MPV, VP6, NSV, MXF, YUV, MPV, DVR-MS, NUV, WMV, 3GP, RMVB, MPG, MOV, M2TS, MTS, XAVC, MOD, etc are not supported by Windows Phone 8 thus not play on the Nokia phone. You can either add a 3rd-party media player app or customize/encode the contents beforehand on computer.
