Let’s accept it. Most of the home theater rooms have this familiar sight—wires running over the walls or hiding beneath the carpet. There may be the bird nest of wires behind the equipment.

Keeping AV wires organized and neat and clean is not only good for management, but also avoid electronic signals interference's. As an added bonus, your room appearance is improved.

Here are the ways you can keep you AV wire organized.

Tie Up the Wires:

It is an effective and economical way to organize the bunch of cables running from the same source. But that doesn’t mean you use any thread or metal wire for that purpose. Instead, use cable bundle tools like tie wraps or wire clamps for an easy handling and adjustment.

But don’t cinch the cables too tight as it may affect the insulation, making them prone to electronic interference. Make sure to keep speakers wires loose to avoid sound distortion.

Make sure you’ve bundled the A/V cables and power cables separately as latter emits strong electromagnetic fields that disturb the signals present in A/V cables.

Label Every Wire:

Labeling each and every wire may be bit exhaustive, but it is useful when you have to test/replace the particular wire or pick the faulty one. You can easily know which cable belongs to the T.V or which one is running from the speakers. Sadly, this “cable management tip” is sidelined by most of the people.

All you need to stick the labels on the wires and that’s it.

Go for Cable Concealers:

Several cable concealing strips like cable raceway is useful to hide the cable running on the walls, thereby improving your room aesthetic.  It is available in many styles but choose the one that go best with your room interiors.

Consider the Right AV Furniture:

Choosing the right AV furniture is the half done to keep the wires out of sight. Plus, they accentuate the interior of your room. Make sure your AV cabinet gives a good height to your screen. Most of the AV furniture comes with the cable management including the cut out sand built in power strips. Make sure your cabinet has a facility for ventilation and it is easy to move.

Bottom Line:

You may find it the tricky to go through above mentioned wire job. In this case, you must seek a professional service.
