New smartphone LG G6 update now seeding in the US
The LG G6 has started getting a new update in the United States. It's a large update that weighs in at around 640MB and is currently hitting unlocked units (US997).

The changelog doesn't reveal any details, except saying that the update improves the handset's usability and functionality.

Reportedly, Android security fixes for June are also included in the update. As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it might take time for the update notification to pop up on your phone's screen.
The update also includes an Android security patch. Unfortunately, it's not the July patch (released by Google last week), but the patch for June. Well, that's still better than having an older patch, right?
If you own an unlocked smartphone LG G6 in the US and you've received this update, let us know if you're seeing any performance improvements, will you?
