The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 is a medical entrance exam, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in two phases. The first phase of the exam has already been conducted on 1 May 2016. The CBSE has renamed AIPMT as NEET 2016 Phase I. For those, who couldn’t appear in the first phase, they have been provided with a good opportunity to participate in the second phase of the exam, which is to be held on 24 July 2016. The NEET 2016 application form for the second phase will be issued on 7 May 2016. The form will be available online on the official website of CBSE. Procedure of Submission of NEET 2016 Application Form

There are following steps for filling and submission of NEET 2016 Application Form:

  • Registration – It comprises the Filling of NEET 2016 Application Form
  • The registration process is followed by payment of fee.
  • After registration of filling of NEET Application Form Part-I, there comes filling of the NEET 216 Application Part-II.
  • Finally, the confirmation page of the printout has to be sent.
  • The candidates are advised to keep a copy of the Application form for future reference.

All India Rank will be provided by CBSE. The applications for counselling will be invited by the Admitting Authorities. On the basis of All India Rank, the merit list shall be drawn.

Regarding NEET 2016

The following points regarding NEET 2016 Application Form deserve attention:
NEET, which was earlier known as AIPMT, has been renamed as such by the order of the Supreme Court. The first such exam of AIPMT was held in the year 2013. However, for the next two years it was scrapped due to opposition from various institutes against its guidelines.

Once both the phases of exam are completed, the CBSE will announce the declaration of the combined result on 17th August 2016, in which around 52, 305 students will be admitted in the governmental medical and dental colleges in the country. The admission process will be concluded on 30th September 2016.
Across various nominated centres across India, the written exam of NEET 2016 will be held in offline mode.
