What is NDT

NDT stands for Non-Destructive Testing. NDT is an analysis technique used in science and technology which is used to examine materials and evaluate its properties without causing any damage to it. NDT is also known as NDE (Non-Destructive Examination). Its nondestructive feature makes it popular. NDT is used in various industries such as forensic engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, petroleum engineering, etc. The most commonly used NDT Techniques are Liquid Penetrant Testing, Electromagnetic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Thermal Infrared Testing.
