I am JB Hill, grandson of Napoleon Hill.

I believe that our educational system is pretty good overall about providing skills to students; however, it is not focused at teaching them how to make use of those skills for achievement throughout life.   Perhaps this is due to our move toward technology and away from liberal arts.

Millions of people world-wide, believe that Napoleon Hill’s philosophy of success should be taught to our young to give them the knowledge of how to succeed. The philosophy is already being taught at the University of Virginia in its School of Business at Wise.

Napoleon Hill wrote what is arguably the most well-known motivational book of all time —- “Think and Grow Rich.” The book sold out three times during in its first year of printing … in the middle of the great depression!  Since then, it has sold more than 70 million copies.  A conservative estimate is that another million copies are being sold worldwide each year.

The most popular books today have a book store shelf life of from 1 to 2 years. Now, consider that Napoleon Hill’s 1928 “Law of Success,” his 1937 “Think and Grow Rich,” his 1945 “Maser Key to Riches,” his 1960 “Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude,” and his 1971 “You can Work your Own Miracles” are still stocked and sold today.

Last summer, I attended the NY City Book Fair and met a Brazilian publisher who told me that T&GR had been #1 on the best seller list for the past two years.  Interestingly, she said that women typically buy the book. I know a Malaysian multi-millionaire who makes T&GR mandatory reading for all his employees.  The same thing was true for Clement Stone, the billionaire CEO of Combined Insurance Company of America.

In other words, books written by Napoleon Hill sell better today than they did 70 years ago and they are selling around the world. Napoleon Hill discovered and through his books taught us how to succeed.  The proof for this is that Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” has been in print continuously since 1937 and is still published around the world in at least a dozen languages.

In the 5 years since Organo Gold started business, it has taught this philosophy to more than a million people. Organo Gold is teaching leadership and personal development, giving people the knowledge of how to succeed.

This is why I really believe that while Organo Gold’s business is coffee, its product is people.
