My Story Of Ignorance With Initial Water Damage Sign At Home

In this article, I am going to share with you my personal experience with the damage cause due to excess water in my property. Last summers I had planned to go to my elder sister’s home in the city next to mine, well the term next here defines single boundary but the distance was too long. I started packing my stuff leaving behind my roommate in the house. A few days before that I had seen a water leakage near the kitchen tap but ignored just because I was too busy with my holiday plans. I even forget to tell my roomie about the same. Today I wish I could have told her before, may be there were chances of a better situation compared to what I faced at that time.

As I told you, I packed my bag and travelled by an early flight to my sister’s place. I was more than happy to see her after a long period. She lived there with her two kids and husband. My trip was for a month and I wanted to spend all the time with my family. Each day was filled with a lot of fun activities, outings and delicious meals. Finally, the day came when I had to leave back for my native city. After returning as I entered my home, there was something strange to see inside. There was pungent smell everywhere and I could barely see any corner left dry. There was water everywhere. My whole house was filled with smelly liquid from the past several days. It was even difficult to breathe as the smell was too strong. I felt too bad and was like crying over the whole situation. The damage included, broken water pipe in the kitchen, rotten wooden floors, Wet carpet Brisbane and much more.

At that moment, the only thing that came in my mind was to run to some other place and don’t come back there again. There was no chance of restoration because I had no idea if there was some service available for this cleaning process or not. Then one of my friends told me that he can arrange a good professional cleaning and restoration survive at my door step. They were kind to listen to all my cries and within a few minutes they were at my home for inspection. 

This was the first step of their job and them they came up with experts who had latest equipment’s to be used in the process of cleaning. It took them a single day for the complete restoration process and it was a totally happy moment for me to see my home like this again.  I thanked them a lot and wished them all luck in their work.
