My Opinion about Home Inspection
Home hunting is always difficult in any market around the world. Generally, we all might have heard many stories about the buyers of flats in Chennai who think wisely before making investment and another set of buyers who swoops at the last minute. As my expert’ advice, if anyone finds the right property, they should perform due diligence as quickly as lighting speed.
The one part of the process that often scampers a scale is the building and inspection. The elation of finding the right property often comes with horror of a written fault report on your dream home. Even inspection report on best Apartments in Chennai will never sound well. In building inspection, the legal exposure is quite frightening. The inspector should determine whether the building is structurally strong, whether any major issues will come in the future and if termites are present. These days, if you go through a report, it basically has a big disclaimer with just few comments thrown in. In this case, the report becomes useless.
In this world, we can notice faults in each and every home. Some of the commonly found faults are rising damp in walls, termite damage, inadequate sub-floor ventilation, settlement cracks etc. Often people attempt to re-negotiate an agreed sale when found with these faults, but it is actually unfair as per my opinion.
My kind advice for people is that people should look out for major issues such as live pests, safety hazards and structural problems. These are the things that can cost a small fortune to the address. So, addressing those faults help people not in adding value but simply help in restoring it. Are you one among the people who look for perfect Flats for sale in Chennai? Then, I am cent% sure you won’t find the perfect home. It is better to keep aside the minor faults and make your investment.
