My methods to confirm that a Chinese company is a manufacture and not a trading company
by Joseph Ding Sale Manager1. very easy way to distinguish, there are limited products for factory, while
trading company have many different products. so visit the website, see if there is
anything related to each products, like our website: http://www.dt-lights.com, can
you distinguish this? the best way is there is the unique heatsink, all the products
use this patented heatsink, which different from the market products, etc, next
time, when you see downlights using different heatsink, then you will understand,
the company may be factory(has their own products), but at the same time, they buy
from other factories.
2.business license is always a good key, but there are many Chinese which client can
not understand, though the business license listed factory(厂/工厂）, but sometimes
factories buy products from other factories, see, this is complicate,
3.if possible, visit the factory is always the best way, if can not visit, then ask
the trading company to send you the real pictures of produce line, office
surrounding, etc and this pictures must have something connected, like the Company
name, logo or something, etc
4.Factory will only have one day off(Sunday) per week, sometimes only have two
holidays per months, while trading company have two days off per week
