My Journey on Photography Business

It was year 2005 Feb 14^th on which I started earning money with my photography business. As I am from middle class family it was really difficult for me to get money from my parents.
I had no other options than starting my own business while I was studying. I finally managed to get my first semiprofessional camera Olympus 500 with the help of my mom.

Initially it was really difficult to get business, later on I took help of Vinay who is my best friend to learn about photography. He helped me to use manual mode in that camera. He was working as lab operator in a well-known photography studio in Bangalore GK Vale.

I got in to milind school for intial business, I used to make passport photos of all students, ID card designing, Brochures and other stuffs for the school. Biggest order was annual day celebration where I had made lot of money which made me to buy dslr camera.

I was looking for  Best DSLR Cameras under 30000 With only 15000 rs. In hand I bought it by borrowing some money from my friend again. After buying dslr I started taking photography as very serious business. I built a beautiful studio near Anjananagar, Which is located near magadi main road Bangalore. 

I spend around 7 lakhs to build my studio. I have few suggestions to those who wants to buy dslr cameras. If you want to buy camera, first decide the purpose of buying it. Example if you need it for professional purpose go with semi pro cameras like Nikon d7000 or higher version. If you could afford full frame body it will be even more good.

Full frame cameras can be handled well even with the low light conditions if you manage to buy some prime lenses. Coming to cropped version, it will be really difficult if you are using cropped bodies to shoot under low light conditions.

Before buying dslr hire those cameras from DSLR rental companies in bangalore so that you would know how exactly if feels like to use those bodies. You can try different combination of lenses and flash lights for the same.

Nikon and canon dslr cameras give almost same clarity when it comes picture quality. Canon cameras are good for video making and Nikon cameras are good if you want to use it for photography purposes.

Do not worry much about these brands. Make sure you buy good supportive lenses along with your dslr camera so that you wouldn’t feel bored when you take it out for shooting. Most of the people buy cameras with only one lens aprox 18 55 which do not have much long focal length.

Getting to photography business can be very profitable if you manage to maintain service quality. But many people fail here as they don’t follow this. Customer service has to be perfect so that your business grow. I have seen people living very trendy life by making their career in Photography business.
