What is M.Tech?
Masters of Technology course(M.Tech) is a 2-year postgraduate degree program which is opted after the completion of Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech). There is no age limit to pursue M.Tech.

ME / M.Tech / M.Sc.Eng. and M.Sc.Tech programs in India are usually structured as an Engineering Research degree, but lesser than PhD and considered to be parallel to M.Phil. and M.Sc. degrees in Humanities and Science respectively.
Eligibility Criteria for Master of Technology
For securing admission in M.Tech course the aspirants have to pass the qualifying examinations of all semesters in B.Tech/B.E respectively.
The M.Tech course is also open for candidates who have obtained diplomas and have the work experience. Some universities accept lateral entry (Direct admission to 2nd year) and some also provide the same course in a part-time system.
Admission Procedure for Master of Technology
Admission to M.Tech program is through entrance examination and on merit-based whereas certain universities and colleges offer both direct admission and entrance test.
