Moving and Packing Tips

by John Mcclane Professional SEO Expert

It is exciting to be moving into a new apartment or home but some of the excitement dissipates with the thought of all the packing, moving, and unpacking that has to be done.  When packing you want to ensure that nothing gets broken.

If you are moving yourself you can mark the boxes that are fragile and move them in your car but if you hire Packers and Movers  in Pondicherry may not be as careful with your boxes marked fragile.  If you know how to pack these types of boxes there will be less incidents.  There are some Packers and Movers  in Pondicherry that will pack up all of your things for an extra fee.

Make sure that you have a checklist of the things that need more careful packing such as things made from glass, dinnerware, figurines, etc. You can get boxes from grocery stores, restaurants, or from a moving company.  You will also need packing table to secure the boxes.  You will also need a magic marker to mark what is in the box and whether it is fragile or not such as “living room—lamps and pictures, fragile.”

When packing breakables take a couple of towels, fold them and put them in the bottom of the box.  You can use bubble wrap to wrap them and gently put them in the box.  Pack the box as tight as you can to help prevent the items from rolling around in the box.

Between each layer of items put in another one or two folded towels so you do not have breakables packed on top of each other.  Do not use newspaper to wrap these items as the ink in the paper could rub off on the collectibles and tarnish them.  You can use packing peanuts also.  Sit all boxes marked fragile together so you can show Packers and Movers in Kakinada which boxes they need to handle carefully.  Make sure that these boxes are securely taped so it does not come open.
