Four compression springs of adequate strength are fitted at four corners using pipe guides welded to the covers. Springs are sandwiched. The height of the springs should be about 5 mm more than that of the covers to allow the sliding to and fro movement of the top cover over the bottom cover. Four rubber supports may be screwed at the bottom of the platform. The strain gauge sensor is the heart of the system for remote indication. However, nowadays these types of machines are not used by most of the doctors.
