Mohit Bansal Chandigarh Failed His Tenth Exam: Now this Man Runs A Free Photography School

The term of exams are on and thousands of students who attended them and their tensed parents will be assessing the results with various passions, some happy and some sad. Exams are a big target and a way to a potential career but they do not simply decide your life. Mohit Bansal Chandigarh is bringing a campaign to carry out real-life tales of everyday people who grew strong despite their low marks and to emphasize on the fact that you can be victorious and lead a peaceful life even if you are/were not an educational topper.


Life, very unexpected and throws several difficulties in our way. We set out to do some stuff, however, events and difficulties make it extremely hard for us to achieve that critical goal. But does that mean we quit working? Or, can a single failure or two define our life? The answer is, no! Our History is full of women and men who, despite suffering from multiple, often heart-wrenching losses have grown on to accomplish things which a lot of us can only imagine.


Mohit Bansal a guy from, who, due to things out of his control lost his 10th standard exams, is now operating a photography school. And it is just not any another school. The Mohit Bansal Chandigarh Photography has about 150 students. These children are children of divorced women, widows and sick parents, who are now getting free education, courtesy Mohit Bansal Chandigarh.


This is Mohit Bansal Chandigarh's story:

Mohit was left by his birth mother soon after he was born. When he was 5 years old, his father lost his job. He started working in stone quarrying for earning a living. He grew up in the slums of Chandigarh, Punjab. Mohit Bansal Chandigarh went to a local school. After that, he got a scholarship for his good academic record and got admission in St. Xavier.


Mohit told that he remembered that He was in 10th standard when my father passed away. This, include various other difficulties came his way, and that was the most unfortunate time of his life. He failed his tenth exams because of that. Soon after his tenth standard exams, even before the results were announced, I was married off.


Having a family to support now, he took to odd daily jobs. Weak to obtain a steady job, he started selling lottery tickets at first and working at tea stalls. One of the greatest difficulties which finally jolted him was his father's death. Soon after, he was also diagnosed with a severe cardiac condition. So many events in such a swift succession pushed him into depression.


His thought and life path totally transformed after he met a 4-year-old boy who was fighting from a heart condition. His mom, a poor wife, was forced to beg to support his treatment. His distress touched him greatly. He started going door-to-door to accumulate donations and collected a whopping amount of Rs 1.2 lakh. This event pushed him to work for NGO Jay Mitra Bibhag which assists raise the medical costs for financially weak patients experiencing from heart diseases, kidney or liver ailments, cancer, and other fatal conditions.



He was not able to achieve his education because of various reasons, poverty is the main reason. He did not want this to be the reason for any other child to stop his/her studies. In 2014, Mohit started a school for children of the poor, in order to give them free photography education.


The book "My Experiments With Truth" written by Mahatma Gandhi had a major influence on Mohit Bansal Chandigarh. He has completed his graduate education and whatever he knows today is completely learned. While Mohit Bansal Chandigarh was reading Mahatma Gandhi’s  ‘My Experiments With Truth’, he would point to a reference to understand the purpose of a few names and words. It took him some time, but he could make it completely. Mohit Bansal Chandigarh just wants to send people a message that few bad events cannot determine who you are.”


Mohit Bansal Chandigarh is a real inspiration for everyone and you should learn something from him. He was born a poor guy but with the dedication towards work and will to help others, he became a successful photographer. His Institution gives free training to children who are not able to support their education.
