Miami Holidays Allow You to Explore Fabulous Places

by Daisy Wilkinson Travel Guides

A beautiful port city of the United States of America, Miami gets plenty of visitors from different corners of the world every year. It is located in the south-eastern part of the country and has several attractions that the tourists find really charming. Among them are the gorgeous beaches and art-deco buildings. When you begin exploring the city, you'll also come across some elegant hotels and nightclubs that have awe-inspiring interiors. Miami also has a happening arts scene and fantastic restaurants that give you the chance to experience a thrilling nightlife.

You can make your Miami holidays cost-effective if you choose to visit during the hurricane season, which begins in the month of September and continues until November. This is the time when the hotels would be willing to provide some fabulous discounts on accommodations. Winter from December to February is also a good time to explore this city. However, you'll have to book your holiday package or hotel stays well in advance, as this is a peak tourist season. From June to August, the beaches of Miami would be crowded with families arriving in the city for their summer holidays. This makes it extremely difficult to get some wonderful deals on hotel accommodations.

Spring from March to May would be the best time to enjoy cheap Miami holidays as the climate during this time of the year is extremely pleasant and favourable for beachside activities. Book your holidays for late April or first-half of May to avoid the crowds of college students who come for their spring break to this city. Some of the major attractions are concentrated in the Miami Beach area, which is located on an island and connected to the mainland city with bridges. While enjoying your sightseeing tours, you can explore its famous beaches and the Art Deco District. Visit the Bayside Marketplace for some memorable shopping experiences.

During your Miami holidays, you'll also get to visit the Bayfront Park. It houses some fantastic attractions worth exploring, such as the World War II Memorial and the Pepper Fountain. The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is also a fascinating place you'd not like to miss during your time spent in the city. It was the winter home of a 20th-century industrialist known as James Deering. The entire estate is spread across a vast area of 28 acres and has gardens with pools, fountains, and sculptures. You'll get a Latin feel upon visiting a Cuban district within this city called Little Havana.

The American Airlines Arena is yet another exciting place you can visit while holidaying in the city. It frequently hosts some special events and large concerts of renowned performers. You'll get to explore the amazing building, which is energy-efficient and has been given a LEED certification. It was opened in 1999 and can accommodate more than 19,000 individuals. A visit to the Jungle Island would give you the chance to witness numerous species of exotic plants, birds, and wild animals. You'll find the Parrot Jungle quite interesting, as it has some entertaining presentations for its visitors on nocturnal creatures and reptile encounters.

You can find some excellent options in flights to Miami here.
