MHT CET 2015 will be Conducted on 7 May 2015

Candidates seeking admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O & BSc and Nursing Courses, in colleges of Maharashtra must know about MHT CET 2015. It is a state level common entrance exam, which is conducted every year, by Government of Maharashtra. All the colleges, in the state, will consider scores of this exam to grant admission, into various UG courses.

Exam date, for this year, has been announced by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER). The exam will be held on 7 May 2015. Candidates will write the exam in offline mode, only. Candidates will be allotted 3 hours (180 minutes) to write the exam. In this due duration, candidates will have to solve 200 multiple choice questions of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates are advised to be cautious while marking answers, as  negative marking will be done for marking wrong answer.

Advantage with Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2015, is that candidates will be able to write it in, either English, Urdu or Marathi. However, to write the exam, candidates will have to submit application form, which will be released in due course. The only medium to fill form will be through the official website. Application request which will be send via post or any other medium, will not be entertained by conducting authority.

It is vital to submit MHT CET 2015 application form in prescribed format because admit card will not be issued for those applications which will be send in wrong format. To know how to fill application form correctly, read the steps below:

Firstly, candidates will have to access the official website
Then, candidates will have to get themselves registered by filling certain required information.
During registration, anew id and password will be created. Candidates must login by using these two and fill each and every area of application form, with authentic information.
Candidates will also have to upload scanned image and signature, in prescribed format.
Last step is to remit application fee.

Candidates must remember that information entered in application form should be authentic and updated. Those who will try to feed wrong information will be disqualified from admission procedure. Also, without submitting the application fee, authority will not acknowledge candidates application request. Fee can be remitted via online mode like Debit/ Credit card and Net Banking, or by generating a challan from any branch of State Bank of India. Fee will be around Rs. 800 for general category candidates and Rs. 600 for reserved category.

Size of photograph and signature must not be more than 50 kb. Scanned image must be uploaded in .jpge format only. When all the formalities of submitting application form will be completed, candidates will be able to see the confirmation page. Candidates are advised to secure a copy of this page, as it might be required in future.

Candidates who application will be submitted properly, will be issued MHT CET 2015 admit card, few days before the exam date. Candidates should know that admit card is an important document and will be required to enter exam hall. Those who will be unable to produce admit card, will not be allowed to write the exam
