Methods for preventing corrosion:

First, metal made for steel pipes should be in proper proportion. And suppliers should ensure the corrosion level for multifarious types of steel pipes, such as seamless steel pipe, ERW steel pipe and so on. For example, the filler metal should meet or exceed the level of molybdenum in the base metal. This could require the use of a nickel-based alloy, especially if the molybdenum content exceeds 4 percent.

Second, the whole process for producing steel pipes should be guaranteed very good without any mistake. Excessive heat control, components control, cleanup tools for grinding, brushing and buffing would be important for checking during the production.
