History

The Toyota MR2 Spyder is marketed in the US market and is also known as the Toyota MR-S in Japan. It is a two-seat, mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports car first produced in 2000 until 2007.

It is also equipped with single-zone front air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, a tilt steering wheel, a glass rear window with defroster, rear wind deflector, CD player, AM/FM radio, and old-style metal mast for a radio antenna.

Some notable features are electronic brakeforce distribution, front seatbelt pretensioners, daytime running lights, engine immobilizer, passenger airbag deactivation switch, and booths under the front hood and behind the seats. The Spyder exterior is good-looking with its iconic pop-up big headlights, frog-like headlamps, and the roof was done without t-tops. It also blends nicely into the boot like a rectangle, unlike the usual that flips over and collapses.
