developing country so now it’s promoting medical science studies.
Now the system of education is under the ministry of education.
The education levels are divided
into three parts.
- Primary education
- Secondary education
- Tertiary education
Primary
education:
The initial years of education are
called primary education it’s also known as elementary education. In addition
to this, it is handling by the ministry of primary education or mass education.
Besides, its ministry of primary education is responsible for making policies
and their implementation of the primary educational system. It is also
responsible for state-funded schools, but at local level.
Secondary
education:
After primary education the education
is called secondary education.
It is divided into 2 parts:
- 1-Secondary education
- Higher secondary education
Grade 6th in grade,
10th education is called secondary education.
11th grade and 12th are
called higher secondary education.
Tertiary
education:
Post-secondary education is called
tertiary education.
There are two languages in
Bangladesh.
Moreover, there are two languages in
Bangladesh Bengali and English. Although, the national language is Bengali but
the educational language is commonly English.
Percentage
of students in Bangladesh
According to the reports of 2014
there were the percentage of students was as follows:
Male students was: 66.5% as well as
female students was: 63%
According to the present reports the
percentage of students are as follows:
Male students are: 77.1%as well as
female students are: 71.5%
Consequently, this increase in
percentage of students in Bangladesh is showing that the it is a developing
country and promoting education.

There are number of medical colleges for MBBS in Bangladesh that are recognized
by MCI and as well as approved by the WHO. Moreover, all the medical colleges
offer medical studies in Bangladesh for both national as well as international

(SSMC)

college have a Miford hospital, one of the famous as well as an old hospital in
the Bangladesh.
Shaheed suhrawardy medical college
(ShSMC)
Number third, Shaheed Suharwardy medical
college is one of the famous medical college in Bangladesh. Its original name
was Khaleeda Zia medical college but after that the name changed to Shaheed
Suharwardy medical college. Besides, it there were one hundred students in it
however, according to present reports there are 900 students of different
batches.
Chittagong medical college (CMC)
Number fourth, It’s also one of the
famous and oldest medical college in Bangladesh.Furthermore, Chittagong medical
college is also famous inter nationally as number of students from India,
Malaysia, Nepal, Sri-lanka and Iran are studying there. Although, it is funded
by the government of Bangladesh.
Mymensingh medical college (MMC)
In Last, Mymensingh medical college
is offering MBBS and BDS. It is also offering post graduate courses under
discipline of Bangbandhu Sheikh Mujib medical university (BSMMU). However,
there are 197 vacancies for MBBS students and52 vacancies for BDS.

of famous fields for medical studies in Bangladesh:
Many students think that just
becoming a MBBS doctor as well as a BDS doctor is medical study consequently,
they just set their goal for these two fields. But they are wrong there are
number of fields in medical science. As the medical science is very wast take a

- BSC in nursing: 4-years degree program with
academic degree in science and principles of Nursing
- BSC in laboratory sciences: This is based upon chemistry
and biology. However, prepares a student for hospital labs, forensic labs,
clinics and industrial research labs.

chemistry and biology and prepares a student to make drugs.

Eligibility
criteria for national students to do medical studies in Bangladesh:
- Student can apply with 2 years
after passing 10+2
- Student after 2 years of
passing 10+2 cannot apply for medical studies
- Student must have scored 60%
for 10+2
- Student must have background,
with physics chemistry and biology
- Student must have scored 60% in
biology
- Student must have minimum GPA
of 8.00 in SSC, HSC or equivalent
SSC: Secondary school certificate of 10th
grade
HSC: Higher secondary school certificate
of 12th grade

criteria for international students to do medical studies in Bangladesh:
International students seeking MBBS Admission in Bangladesh for medical studies must fulfill the admission
requirements as follow as admission confirms after all verification of their
academic records etc.

student visa
- Original transcripts
- Original certifications
- Financial statements
For BSC in Nursing there are
additional requirements for admission:
