Achiltibuie Bagpipe Specialists Ltd was originally founded in the early 2000’s by Major Bruce Hitchings MBE BEM and Alison Sinclair. Named after the picturesque village in Wester Ross, on Scotlands North West Coast. Since 2018 the company has now relocated to Grangemouth Enterprise Centre in Grangemouth, Falkirk. From here, we continue to dispatch worldwide, the finest Piping, Drumming and Highland Wear.

The current company director is Gary Nimmo, originally of California, Falkirk.

Gary has spent most of his professional career as a Piping Instructor, formerly for Falkirk Council, then Highland Council before now being the lead tutor for the new ABS Piping School – Falkirk.

McCallum AB1’s feature fully combed and beaded African Blackwood projecting mounts, plain beaded nickel ferrules, slides and ring caps. This bagpipe is supplied as either sticks and McCallum plastic pipe chanter only or as a complete set with McCallum plastic pipe chanter, synthetic drone reeds, pipe bag cover with Velcro seal and silk cords with synthetic zipper pipe bag. All McCallum bagpipes are accompanied by a 5-year manufacturer’s guarantee
