by Maria William Software Developer

McAfee, the world leader in delivering cybersecurity solutions is launching a new cloud-based platform for the organizations to take care and ensure the protection of endpoints and mobile devices. This will be done by bringing in McAfee Mvision technology, which includes ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) along with the endpoint and mobile products.

By implementing this technology to its dedicated solutions for the enterprises, the prime aim of the company is to raise the level of security in the organization. With this technology, the enterprises will also be able to orchestrate and control their IT assets.

On July 17, 2018, Nathan Jenniges, the senior director of product management for Endpoint Security at McAfee said that this technology is something that will focus making the new security products, flexible and simpler for the customers. The invention of this technology is a part of our constant development in the field of online security.

Mvision ePO is a SaaS (software-as-a-service) tailored to expand the criterion of McAfee’s own ePO product. As a division of the Mvision technology, both the technologies (ePO and SaaS) will provide its users the all-new task-oriented UI, which is dedicated to render an improved visibility to the upcoming threats. It will quickly improve security postures to bring in great efficiency and flawlessness.

The new rollout also incorporates an agent that can be directly embedded onto MS Windows 10 operating systems to widen up the security policies and controls. According to the company, the Mvision Endpoint service extends the security capabilities of the OS through advanced threat detection and protection techniques. Some of them will leverage ePO as well.

The technology mainly for the mobile service will also render advanced threat protection to the Android and iOS devices. The company is merging the Mvision Mobile with the enterprise mobility management technology from other vendors in order to ensure complete device control. McAfee products (accessible via mcafee.com/activate) are supposed to be implemented with Mvision in the month of August.
