Marine Diesel Engine Repair and Maintenance Services

Our team consisting of one senior engineer and two technicians was deputed with extensive experience of engine repair and overhaul including repair of crankshaft, camshaft and adjustment of timing. All these engineers have substantial experience of undertaking marine diesel engine repair on Wartsila MAN B&W, Yanmar, Daihatsu engine etc.

Procedure followed for renewal of wartsila diesel engine crankshaft:-

  • Necessary arrangements were made for safe lifting and securing engine block.
  • All the major assemblies, pipes resting on engine block including crankshaft were removed.
  • During removal of crankshaft, all main bearing caps were clearly marked in order to avoid any confusion during the reassembly of the engine.
  • Complete calibration of new crankshaft was done.
  • Cleaning of bedplate, main bearing pocket was done along with calibration.
  • New crankshaft was placed on the engine block and all the parameters as per the manual were checked.
  • Refitting of engine parts was done.

After thorough inspection of all the clearances, the engine was put on trial mode and performance was observed to be satisfactory.
