Mahindra TUV 3OO arrived on Indian roads

Mahindra has launched its most anticipated model TUV 300 in India with the staring price of INR 6.90laks(ex-showroom). The name TUV stands for 'Tough Utility Vehicle'.This SUV has rolled out with stunning features that makes you eager to buy it. If you are buying a new diesel car, then you should buy it. Engine and Displacement

This TUV300 is fitted with 1.5L mHawk 80 diesel engine, which can produces output of 84bhp and 230Nm, mated with 5-speed manual transmission system that supply power to rear wheels. This car also comes with the option of an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) gearbox, which is helpful to rises the power to 84bhp, torque remains same. This SUV offers fuel efficiency of 18.49kmpl.

Exteriors and Interiors

The external appearance of this SUV is rugged like any other SUVs. Its front profile includes flat bonnet, radiator grille, wing shaped headlight cluster and bumper with rectangular shaped fog lamps. Coming at the side profile, it has a straight line that passes from the headlight cluster to the rear. It also has bigger fenders fitted with five twin-spoke design alloy wheels. At rear section, the wide rear windscreen equipped with high mount third brake light. A spare wheel is mounted on the tailgate for any sports utility vehicle.

Inside the car, that cabin has made in a dual color scheme that give it an eye-catching look. It has front facing seats for first and second row and side facing seats for the third row. The seats are covered with beige and brown colored fabric upholstery. It has leather covered gear knob and floor console , where some switches are provided to operate windows, that provide convenience to passengers. The instrument cluster is equipped with analogue meters with chrome surround to it and some warning lights. The 4-spoke steering wheel mounted with audio and call function, that added more convenience to driver. For utility purpose it has power sockets, sun visors , storage units and some other aspects.

Comfort features

The company offered this SUV car in 7 trim levels. The air conditioning system for all trims, while AC vents with silver coating for high end trims. It has power steering, power windows, stylish instrument cluster that provides you information about vehicle's speed, rpm levels along with various other warning lights. The T4 and T4plus trims having mobile charging points, roof lamp, bottle holders in front and second row along with cup holders in the central console. The T6, T6 Plus and T6 Plus AMT trims are equipped with additional features such as remote lock, keyless entry, rear defogger, second row roof lamp and rear window wiper with washer. The high end T8 Plus trims have steering wheel paired with audio controls, height adjustable driver seat, armrest, lumbar support for driver's seat, lead me to vehicle lamps and fordable second row seat.

Safety features

In safety features, its T4 trim has powerful headlamps, seat belts, collapsible steering wheel, auto door lock, side impact protection beams and a digital immobilizer that provides safety to vehicle from theft. The T4 Plus trim offered anti lock braking system, dual front airbags and anti-theft warning system as standard features. However, the T6 trim has also same features like T4 except one which is airbags. The trims from T6 Plus are attached with the keyless entry, third brake lights and front fog lamps.
