This Lumsing Desktop USN+B laptop charger was sent to me for review. The immediate "out of the box" impression is of a well made, good quality device. In the box you get the charger (which incorporates the mains transformer), a figure of 8 UK mains lead and instruction manual. This one unit could free up four 13 Amp power sockets and reduce a lot of charger clutter.

The 5 port charger (measuring 137 x 68 x 31mm) has a maximum output of 6 Amps at 5V - there are two ports suitable for iPads and similar devices, plus ports for Samsung Tablets, iPhone and Android phones - the ports are individually marked. The unit claims to be able to support 5 devices simultaneously - a claim which I tested and it seems to cope well without generating too much heat. The charger is finished to a high standard and features overload, short circuit and leakage protection circuitry and the instruction book claims compliance with CE/FCC/CCC/SAA/PSE certification requirements, although, there are no approval markings as such on the unit. A subtle blue LED indicator denotes that power is on and there are four substantial non-slip rubber feet.

I can certainly say this Lumsing USB mobile charger works effectively, will reduce clutter in your home and manage most of your charging needs. I also find that it is helpful to have all your devices charging in a single location as you rush out of the house in the morning! Recommended
