Ovarian Reserve Tests

There are few tests, which are used to check ovarian reserve. One of such test is basal follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) test and the other one is clomiphene citrate challenge test (CCCT). Other provocative response tests are also used. Ultrasound is also used to check stimulation response.

The basal FSH test is done on second or third day of the menstrual cycle. It is blood test, which indicates FSH levels, revealing availability of few or more eggs.
