Yesterday I went to my college friend’s house as he has invited me over to watch his new HDTV that he just bought. It’s a 32-inches LG 32LV2400 HDTV and it cost my friend only around 300 buck. Pretty good deal for a branded 32 inches HDTV set I think.

My first impression on the HDTV is it looks very flat and thin. I guess it’s because it use LED backlighting for the screen. It makes the HDTV very light too. I can easily lift it on my own. My friend then pop Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon on his DVD player and we watch it together. I’ve seen HDTV that has 1080p resolution and the picture is amazingly stunning. My friend said that this one has only 720p resolution, yet I found that the picture quality of the HDTV is quite good. It does not as sharp as the 1080p but it isn’t bad either. I actually enjoy the Transformers movie quite fine.

The only drawback of this HDTV set is the lacking of it speakers sound. It sounds flat with almost no bass at all. Lucky for my friend that he has his old PC speakers. It does not make the sound like a home theater system but it sufficient enough to solve the TV sound problem. If you want to buy this HDTV, you better had an external speakers ready for best viewing experience.

Another great feature the LG 32LV2400 has is the Intelligent Sensor. It automatically adjusts the picture setting accordingly to the room and surrounding. Looks pretty sneaky to me. It would be a nice feature to those who are lazy or doesn’t bother to meddle with their HDTV picture setting.

I think that the LG 32LV2400 is a great HDTV for those who are looking for a cheap and low cost HDTV. With the brand and price, it certainly worth more than any other off brand models out there. You can check more review and LG 32LV2400 best price online before purchasing it.
