Learning is NOT an Event

Most people trying to find a way to earn extra cash online think, if they find the right opportunity it will be like flipping on a light switch. The possibility of moving from total darkness into a light flooded room keeps them trying one thing after another in frustration, wondering why it looks so easy for others?
The part that holds them back, is failing to recognize that it's a process and not an event. Even after you find the right plan to make progress with, you still need to learn and practice the skills to make it work. You don't hand a teenager a chainsaw and expect him to cut up a cord of firewood in couple of hours. Unless he gets the right instruction, he is more likely to end up in the hospital.
The same is true about learning to earn online. I recommend new beginners (or those who are still not succeeding), start with something simple (like clicking ads for pennies), until they see some money in the bank. Then build on that success to reach the succeeding levels that result in achieving their eventual goal. This process will reward them with far more than the money they were able to earn.

Thanks, Cindy. Some articles and comments bring out some things within me I read like the rest of us; never knew they were within me all the time!

I totally agree with you Warren. We always want to cut short the process as we look forward to grab the result.
However, you don't just dig the foundation to a building and fix the roof. What you do between the two events are the processes.
It happens with everything in life.
The first little money I made online years ago was a confirmation that I can make more if I do what I did better.
Well, I am doing it better now and getting better at it.
About the money?

Thanks for the tips, I have found that consistent effort each day in ones chosen field is key to long-term success. It doesn't happen overnight like you said it is a process that grows when we water it.

You know Warren what you have written is true.. learning is a process... first things first. But I find it so hard to get most people past the idea of making $10,000.00 by Friday.. and it is only Monday!.... Most seem to just want the Event!
Love that analogy!
