Railway Jobs is the most favorite area of interest in job sector among young people. Every year RRB offers huge vacancies for Gazetted and Non Gazetted category.

In this year we are expecting 1 Lakh vacancies for fresher and experienced jobs.  

Here we give some short explanation about railway jobs and how to offer vacancies.

Indian Railway is a well known organization invites lots of vacancies in both Gazetted (Group A & Group B) and Non Gazetted (Group C & Group D) categories.

Railway Recruitment Details:

Group A: Group A vacancies are filled by UPSC through Civil Service Examination, Engineering Service Examination and Medical Service Examination. 

Civil Service Examination: Indian Railway Traffic Service, Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), Railway Protection Force.

Engineering Services Examination: Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSEE), Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS).

Medical Services Examination: Indian Railway Medical Service (IRMS).

The Education Qualification for each examination is Graduation, Engineering Degree and Medical (MBBS).

Group B Posts: Group B officer vacancies are filled through promotion by currently working Group C employees.

Group C Posts: Technical and Non Technical Cadre posts like Engineering fields (Civil, Mechanical, Electric, Signal & Telecommunication), Clerk, Assistant Station Masters, Traffic Apprentice, Commercial Apprentice etc.

The Education Qualification for Group C is Diploma in relevant discipline.

Group D Posts: Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) recruits Group D Vacancies for various disciples such as Trackman, Helper, Gunman, Peon, Safaiwala, Assistant Points Man & Others.

The Education Qualification for Group C is 10th Pass, ITI in relevant category.
