I own these myself and here is my experience.
The battery life has been solid, I get at least 3.5 hours out of these and often more so I don't know what is wrong with your unit but mine isn't doing it.
I agree on the case, it is super awkward to care in anything other than in your backpack and it only gives 1 extra charge which is disappointing for its size.
I'm no audiophile but sound is good enough for me, again I'm no expert so I'll just assume you're right here as well.
The Bluetooth connection, while often quite decent, sometimes had some problems but nothing major.
There is one BIG flaw with these though. When I first bought these they worked fine for a week or 2 but then the right bud started to drop to ~25% volume which wasn't fixable, I tried both software and hardware reset several times as well as the Desktop program. I had them fixed but only 5 weeks later they have broken again. In a few days, I'll receive them again but if they break again Ill request a money-back.
They're great earbuds but if they keep having these issues I cannot recommend them.
