Laos the most beautiful destination for nature and adventure lovers

Laos is a South Asian country which is landlocked. It is bordered by Burma’s and People Republic of China to the northwest, Vietnam to the East, Cambodia to the South and Thailand to the west. The population of Laos is around 6.5 million in 2012. After years of war and isolation, the old traditional environment and the existing culture, Laos is slowly becoming the preferred destination for travelers all over Asia. Village life is very simple and even in capital; Vientiane the life is very slow and steady. The historic royal city of Luang Prabang where watching hundreds of saffron robed monks walk silently across the centuries old monasteries is an amazing experience.
Apart from the cities there are so many sites in the Laos which are lovely to watch for e.g. the plain of jars in Xieng khuang province, the forested mountains of Northern Laos, the gothic limestone karsts around the backpacker- haven Vang Vieng and in the deep South, past the market town Pakse, is Si Phan Don where the mighty Mekong spreads out and all the hammocks are taken.
The Lao is for those who are looking for nature and adventure. All the sports like kayaking, rock climbing and biking are available but the most popular among them is the community based trekking, it consist of the natural attraction with real experience of Laos and a village homestay.

Cultural visit (Ethnic villages)
The country has a lot of villages where you can go and enjoy with 49 recognized ethnic groups, visiting any village outside of the main town will put you in a minority village. The most diverse collection of ethnic village is in the Northern Province of Luang Namtha, Phongsaly, and Bokeo. Apart from this there are a few groups like Mon Khmer living near the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos. It is recommended that you hire a Lao travel agent or a local guide.

World Heritages
Luang Prabang-
The most ancient town of Laung Prabang is located in the centre of Northern Laos which is described as the most charming and best preserved town in South East Asia. There are 34 Buddhist temples among Luang colonial and Chinese architecture. All are surrounded by lush green gardens and greenery.

The plain of Jars-
The plain of Jars is situated on the Xieng khouang Plateau in north central Laos and contains thousand of jars of stone jars in about 300 clusters from 1-3 metre height.
Wat Phou Complex-
The Wat Phou Temple Complex is located 500 km south of Vientiane on the eat bank of Mekong river in Champasack province. Wat Phou is an associated with the example of early classical Khmer architecture.
