Knowing more about Torque multipliers

The torque multipliers have been considered to be a gear box which functions on ‘Epicyclic Gearing’ principles. At input, given gets multipliers according to multiplication factor, which then gets transmitted at output. By placing in minimum efforts, it becomes possible to achieve greater load.

Their functioning

·         Slim type: Its features are as follows:

Ø  For low input, it has higher reduction ratio.

Ø  Its compact size can help it being utilized in constrained areas.

Ø  Input having safety shear pin is present to avoid overloading.

Ø  Output Sq. drive having pin lock mechanism to provide positive socket locking.

Ø  It offers ± 4% accuracy with great repeatability.
