*There will be no offline exam.
*IDBI bank joined the list of public sector banks participating in the IBPS clerk recruitment and will offer jobs to qualified candidates.
*Graduation has been made mandatory for applying to the clerical cadre exam conducted by IBPS.
*Common interviews for candidates who qualify the IBPS exam have also been introduced.
*Candidates will be offered jobs in the public sector banks based on their performance in interview.

With IDBI joining the 19 public sector bank the IBPS recruitment, the count of banks have now exceeded to 20. IDBI bank has announced 500 executive vacancies and the last date to apply for jobs is 23rd July, 2012.
