Know about the cancellation of American airlines flight ticket

Being a major airline of America, American airlines is chosen by most of the passengers due to the services and facilities offered by them. It is world’s largest airline and with a fleet size of 964 it covers nearly 350 destinations in the world.

On the homepage of American airlines website, the passenger is required to click the tab of My Trips.

To retrieve the booking so that it can be cancelled, the passenger needs to enter the first name, last name and the booking reference number.

By accessing the ticket, the passenger can simply go to the cancel button and by confirming the cancellation, the ticket will get cancelled.

The info about ticket cancellation will be received in the email or as text message on phone.

Any refundable ticket can be cancelled by visiting the Manage booking section on the website. For refund, either the support can be contacted or it can be done online.

If the payment is made by using a credit card, the refund amount will also be processed in the same account.

In case of cash or check, the refund is processed within 20 days after the completion of refund request.

In case of changes made by the airlines resulting in delay of 1 hour or more, then the ticket will be easily refunded.

Any tickets booked through travel agency will get cancelled from them and they will provide the refund
