A game is just not an activity in which children spend their time and energy. While playing, children actually lay the foundation for later learning in life . It is through playing games that children learn to solve problems, increase their understanding of themselves, others and the world in which they live.

For Kindergarten Games includes a variety of fun and interesting activities. These include quiet, creative, active or dramatic play games with simple to follow rules. kids can play in a structured or unstructured way . Active games, such as sports or the 'hunting', flash cards and board are examples of structured play. Unstructured play includes activities like playing with dolls, building blocks, running , climbing and riding  tricycles and many more.

A child can play alone or play socially, with other children or adults. Social gaming takes a key role in helping children learn to interact with others. Children grow and develop abilities of interaction while playing. The exploratory play refers to interactions that a child performs, seemingly at random, with things and people within the surrounding area. Sometimes kindergarten games have much to do with learning about the environment, and little to do with other people. Young children explore their natural environment in a playful way to understand the physical environment and their own bodies. This type of game is sometimes called sensor motor play. With toys and other objects children discover what their own muscles can do and practice the moves needed for daily life. They also have the opportunity to learn about gravity and other principles of the physical world.

Puppets and other accessories can be used to perform roles and storytelling. These imaginary games help children to represent interests and desires in a situation which implies rules of behavior.  They should have access to picture books and educative story books .

While playing with blocks kids sometimes plan roads and buildings and add small cars or dolls to their structures. A parent or teacher can join the games of a child and give suggestions to expand what they do: "What if we build a bridge for your car?" etc. The parents and teachers should emphasize on fun and cooperation instead of competition.
