People of the Earth can you hear me?

Came a voice from the sky on that magical night
And in the colours of a thousand sunsets
They travelled through the world on a silvery light
                                                          …
song by Billy Thorpe

On the green field, the spring air makes my eyes water, I am holding the remote control in my hands, flying my quadcopter through the blue sky in the most particular way. Ground control to Major Tom time to wake up.

One of life greatest gifts is my family and especially our children. Together with my kids, Tommy 9 and Joanna 11 we do our favourite activity in the world is when we fly our quadcopters. They are still young, but I am sure this activity will be the most fulfilling part of me watching them grow up, and their happiest moment from their childhood when they reach adulthood.

So you want to find the best kids quadcopters? Are you not sure what model, engine or brand is the best? Then look no further, with my experience and the love that I have quadcopters you can be certain that you would not make any mistakes buying the perfect kids quadcopter.

Where to Start?

Are you ready for to take off? In 2014, we witnessed the rise of the drones as utterly cool toys, but two years later they are becoming even more popular. One thing to learn from my mistakes is not to buy the best one if your kids just a beginners. There will be a lot of crashes, parts will go off and go with the one that is easily replaceable and are not so expensive. Do not start with those big ones with advanced functions because without any experience accidents may happen. Learn from my mistakes and start with small and cheap.

Control Techniques

Learning how to operate the quadcopter can be the most difficult part. I was always with my kids when they practiced. Giving them confidence, and taking over when they go too far with it. The only problem was getting used to the forward and backward functions. To do those 360 or 180-degree moves you need to use both control sticks and turn them around together. So practice together and in no time, they will

Brands

After my long and productive research, I found that the first drone needs to be more practical and cheaper so my kids can practice without worrying about wasting money. Drone Aviator by Axis is cheaper compared with the others but with a great built-quality and reliable parts you can practice all around. The second one was more advanced, with so many functions that after a year of using we are still discovering new stuff. Tarantula is equipped with a Go Pro camera slot so you can record your flights and even create time-lapse videos. There are other expensive ones, but they are just waste of money.

Conclusion

I am must be totally honest, I love spending time with my children and flying our quadcopters is the cherry on top. We race each other, we laugh, hey we even forget the time and spend over 5 hours flying them (with the extra batteries of course). It all started when I was doing some research on google and saw a video about kids quadcopters and how much they were happy. It changed our lives forever.
