JoSAA 2015 Seat Allotment Result for 02 Round is now Available

JoSAA  Seat Allotment 2015 is a process through which candidates are allotted seats in one of the various participating institutes. There will be four rounds in the seat allocation round. Candidates those who have qualified the exam will be able to take part in seat allocation round. Candidates will be classified in different sections. Different sections will be made for the candidates on the basis of nationality, category, etc. This article will highlight all the details for the seat allotment process.
The schedule for JoSAA 2015 Seat Allotment has been released. Seat will be allocated as per the seat matrix data. Candidates participating in the seat allotment round will be able to take admission in IIITs, IITs, GFTIs and ISM as well.

Candidates will be allotted seat on the basis of their category, choices entered by them, vacancy in institutes, rank of candidate, priority of candidate, etc. Candidates can check the result of seat allocation result on the website. The link will be provided after the declaration of result. Candidates will have to login using their credentials.
To appear in JoSAA 2015 Seat Allotment candidates need to register themselves. Candidates those who have qualified the exam and registered themselves for the seat allocation process will only be able to attend it. Candidates those who get a seat in the seat allocation process will have to complete the admission formalities at the institute otherwise that particular seat will be set vacant for the next allocation rounds.

JoSAA will now be handling the seat allocation to the candidates those who have qualified the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exam. Till last year, this process was conducted and managed by CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board). JoSAA will now be granting admission to the candidates those who have qualified the JEE Main 2015 and JEE Advanced 2015 exam.

In case if more than one student has scored the same marks or rank then seat allocation to them will be done as per the details provided here. If under a particular category there are 'n' number of seats and 'm' number of candidates as if the number of seats is less than the number of candidates, but not zero. Then in such case all the candidates will be able to take admission.

In JoSAA 2015 Seat Allotment it might be possible that a candidate belongs to more than one category, then if the seat allocated to such candidate is not in the first category then that candidate will automatically be considered for the seat upgradation in the subsequent rounds to follow.

While filling the choices for the institutes in JoSAA Seat Allotment 2015 candidates must make sure that the options entered by them are in decreasing priority order, i.e. the most preferred institute must be filled first as it plays an important part in  allotting a seat. Candidates can change their choices any number of time until they lock them. No changes will be allowed once the choices has been locked.
